How does it work?

OWLconnected is included with your OWL Magazine subscription.  You can subscribe to OWL Magazine by mail, phone or web click here

When your order is processed, you will receive an account registration email, usually within 24 hours of purchase.

2) The email will contain instructions for creating a login account.  Once the login account is created, you will be able to login anytime to access your library of current and past issues of OWLconnected eMag.

Note – Gift Subscriptions: If you have purchased OWL Magazine as a gift for a child outside your household, we will need the email address for the child, their parent or guardian to create the login account.  Please ask the parent or guardian to call customer service 1-800-551-6957 to add their email address to the subscription.

3) Every 2 weeks, the reader will receive an email notification advising them of a new OWLconnected issue.  They will be able to log into their account to read, play, and explore the new issue.  They will also have access to past issues in their eMag library.

How do I create a login account?

Subscribe to OWL Magazine.

I already have an OWL Magazine subscription – what do I do?

You must have an email address on your magazine subscription. 

Click here to verify or add your email address to your subscription. You will need your magazine account number and postal/zip code to login (see the mailing label on the front of your print magazine).

After you have added your email address to your subscription, you will receive an account registration email, usually within 24 hours.

What if my OWL Magazine subscription was a gift?

That is OK – Gift Subscriptions can also receive OWLconnected eMag. Like other OWL subscribers, you need to have an email address on your subscription.

Why do I need a login account?

The login account allows you to sync your library. All of the issues from the subscription are attached to the account. When you log into this account you will have access to all the issues associated to your subscription.  

On which devices can I read my issues of OWLconnected?

You can read them on:

- a Mac or PC computer via the website emag.owlconnected.com

- the OWLconnected iPad app, which can be downloaded for free from the AppStore at:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/owlconnected-e-magazine-where/id1106907951?l=fr&ls=1&mt=8

- the OWLconnected app, which can be downloaded for free from Google Play at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.groupebayard.owlconnected

I forgot my password

To create a new password, click on the "Forgot password" link below the login form. Enter your email address. You will receive an email with instructions for creating a new password.

I can't connect to the website

The following message appears after submitting my login information:

  1. “No purchase is associated with this email”.

Please contact customer service for help creating your account customerservice@owlkids.com or 1-877-954-2700 ext. 240

 

  1. "Incorrect password"
    To create a new password, click on the "Forgot password" link below the login form. 

I can't read my issues on my browser...

If you are using a Mac or PC, the Flash Player plugin must be installed. Make sure it is installed on your computer by going to the Adobe support page at this address: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

If the installation or re-installation of the plugin does not solve the problem, we recommend that you use the Google Chrome web browser, in which the Flash Player plugin is pre-installed: click here to install it.

If, however, you are still unable to view the content, please contact customer service.

You are using the Internet on your iPad.

The installation of the Flash Player plugin is not possible on an iPad. Therefore, when launching the web reader, a message prompts you to download and open the OWLconnected iPad app. Use your Owlkids account to log in and access your OWLconnected library.

You are using the Internet on your Android tablet
The version of the Flash Player installed on this tablet does not allow you to view content in the  web reader. That is why when you launched your web reader, a message invited you to connect on your Mac or PC computer.

I subscribed through the Owlkids Store. How can I read my issues in the iPad app?

You can download the OWLconnected iPad appfrom the AppStore at this address: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/owlconnected-e-magazine-where/id1106907951?l=fr&ls=1&mt=8

Then log in to your Owlkids account. For more information on an Owlkids Account please refer to the question "How do I create an Owlkids account" in the FAQs.

Why am I being asked to download the OWLconnected app to view my issues when I use the web browser Safari on my iPad?

To view your content, the Flash Player plugin must be installed. However, this is not possible on an iPad. That is why when you launched your web reader a message invited you to download or open the OWLconnected app. Log in with your Owlkids account to find all the OWLconnected content available with your subscription.
